(Reichensteiner/Bacchus). Near Hastings in East Sussex, Seddlescombe produced England's first organic wine back in 1982. This is a lively wine with a zesty grass and elderflower aroma, hints of honey and grapes with an apple crisp finish.

Organic wine is produced from fruit grown and processed without the use of synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or systemic disease control sprays.

Seddlescombe organic vineyard is an independant family run business, established in 1979, which is now England's leading producer of organic wines. Twenty acres, including six acres of the famous Bodiam Castle, are planted to vines producing hand picked-grapes. Free from genetically modified organisims Seddlescombe wines are suitable for vegetarians (gelatine free) and vegans.
